Will you become a ref this year? Pleeeease?

23 Feb 2022

Hey ladies, mums, girls over 13 years of age… we’re on the search for referees for our Girls League Tag games.

Why the urgency?

If we’re short of refs this year (and parents don’t want to referee) our games will be called off!

What’s in it for you?

Refereeing is a great way to keep fit, earn a little cash, and get involved – or stay involved – with Rugby League.

Plus, you get to see all the action from the best position on the field. And make all the calls!

What’s involved?

It’s an easy 3 step process to become a ref.

  1. Register as a ref
  2. Complete the online module of the Foundation 1 Referee Course
  3. Attend a workshop

The great news is this year the workshop will be held in the Shire. And the Cronulla Referees Association is keen to do all it can to make this workshop as convenient as can be, so they’ll liaise with us on when and where it will be held.

Where do you start?
